State of the claims

Most of the authors have responded and claimed their artwork, but I'm still waiting on a couple more. I'll be sending out emails to those authors later today.

There are also 3 pieces of artwork that haven't been claimed yet: 24, 25, and 32. I can't start handing out the artwork until every artist has at least one author, so hopefully we can get those claimed today and move on to the next stage of the fest!

If there are authors who've already claimed artwork, but wants to write another fic for 24, 25, or 32, you can comment on the claiming post right away. If you want to claim a second piece, and the artwork has already been claimed once, I ask that you please wait until all the authors have chosen their art, and I'll make sure to post on the community when that's done.

Go fandom! In just a few hours we've already got authors for 2 of the 3 unclaimed pieces! The last one that needs to be claimed before I can go ahead with the second round is a gen or pairings-open-to-interpretation surfing AU.

Also, we've had a few authors drop out, so we'll be opening author-sign ups for a little while. If you were on the fence about participating before, now's your chance to sign up!

And we can always use more Pinch-hitters!

Sorry for the multiple posts today everyone, but I'm glad to announce that all the artwork has been claimed! If you already have a fic and feel like signing up to do another story, now's your chance to do it!

I'll also be leaving author sign-ups open until I get the artwork sent out to everybody, which should be the end of the day today.

Assignments are out

Claims are done, and assignments have been handed out. Author sign ups will stay open for the rest of the day, while we wait for a few more people to check in.

At this point, all the artists should know who has claimed their artwork, and all the authors should have the full size of the artwork and know who their artist is.

If you didn't receive an email from the mods, please check any alternate email accounts (I notice some people had two emails listed and at times I wasn't sure which one to use) and check your spam. If you're still missing an email, I might have missed you by accident, so I'm sorry, and please let me know so I can give your assignments.

How much or how little you want to collaborate with your artist/author is up to you, but I suggest you get in touch with each other so you can, at the very least, coordinate the posting date.

Expect more info on the posting schedule by the end of the week.
