As a reminder:

SCHEDULE
Artist sign-ups: September 6th - September 26th
Author sign-ups: September 6th - October 30th
Art for claiming due: November 4th
Claiming: November 11th
Drop-out deadline for authors: March 1st

Posting period: Roughly March 19th to April 14th, depending on the number of sign-ups.

I am very disappointed that you won't be allowing us to use DW for signups and claiming this year. I would love to participate, but I don't use LJ anymore. Just looking at the signup pages, it's clear that there's an issue with the comments, and I don't trust LJ not to mess things up or steal my information. I would still be excited to participate, even if only as a pinch-hitter, if I can do that without using LJ. Unfortunately, if it remains LJ only, I'm afraid I won't be joining in.

I've set it all on LJ because it's easier for me since my online time is spent on LJ.


To my knowledge neither myself or the other mod has said anything about DW users not being allowed to sign up. You can still sign up over on LJ using your DW account or even anonymous. Just put your info in the comment section. If you're worried about LJ 'messing things up or stealing your information' Then you can either pm me or email me the information.

I'm not aware of anything wrong with the comments. One person suggested it might be the theme that's messing with her comment but since I haven't touched the theme it's not that. The only thing I've done is resize the usericons. It was set at 50 and I set it back to 100 the size they should be.
