Art submission guide

A recap of how claiming will work, and guideline for artists on how to submit your artwork.

A few days before March 4th, a members-only post will go up with previews of all the artwork so that authors can decide on which artwork they'd like to write for. The post will be closed to comments.

This is an example of what an art preview will look like:

Notes:

On March 4th, exact time TBD, comments will be turned on so that authors can reply with their top few choices. If an author can't make the claiming time, they can arrange for a proxy.

Claims will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. If an author's 1st choice has already been claimed, they'll be given their 2nd choice, then 3rd, and so on. If all of an author's choices have been claimed, I will skip them and get back to them for the 2nd round.

The 2nd round of claiming will start after all of the artwork has been claimed once. Then I'll go back through the comments and assign 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc, choices for authors who didn't get a claim the first round.

Artists need to have their main piece, ie, the art that will be submitted for claiming, finished by Feb 29th. You can do additional artwork or touch-ups to the main piece after the 29th, but we need at least one finished piece for the authors to work from.

Once you've finished you artwork, please send an email to sgareversebang@gmail.com with the following:
  1. your artwork attached in a web-friendly format (.jpg, .png, .bmp, .gif, etc). Remember that your artwork must be at least 500x500px.

  2. a maximum 300x300px thumbnail of your art. This preview image is what the authors will be looking at in the claiming post.

  3. copy and paste the text box below and add the relevant information. Remember that warnings must be included for: non-con, dub-con, minors (under 18) in sexual situations, suicide, and major character death. Warnings will be hidden under spoiler text, and identifying notes will be omitted.

  4. If you're making a vid, or some other medium that you're not sure how to submit, please contact the mods for more info.

And remember that author sign-ups and pinch-hitter sign-ups are still open!
