I keep staring at the patterning on John's neck (so beautiful). This is amazing - I really love everything about John and the chair best, but the whole story it tells is cool. Can't wait to read the fic, too!

I look at this and it feels eerie, freaky, scary - OMG, how are they going to get John out? Excellent story telling with out saying a word.

I'll echo the other commenters and say that the patterns/circuit thing on the side of John's neck looks very cool! And is that a shield over John and the chair? I hope everything will be OK. Rodney and Teyla look worried, and John's glowing eyes are a little reminiscent of the Goa'uld.

I see that everyone is back in their older uniforms. :)

Also: Background! The computer screen! Ancient Chair! <333 It must have taken so much work.

Love the way the blue light tracing up John's neck mirrors the Atlantis design aesthetic. Great detail.

This is a great piece for this challenge: it suggests a whole story without being so specific that it spells everything out. Really nicely drawn, too, the glimpses of Atlantis, back of the control chair, the three figures. I especially like how graceful Teyla looks.
