I really loved this artwork! I adore desert stories, but I was totally intimidated by trying to think up a story for it, afraid I wouldn't be able to do it justice. It's such a lovely piece, very intriguing.

I'm feeling like an idiot because I neglected to put a big thank you for the great artwork at the start of my fic - sorry, I submitted it in a rush at the very last minute after writing right up to the wire. I do love the image you've created, with its sepia tones and Rodney looking so dashing! I've had it printed off and stuck up beside my PC for several weeks now, as inspiration. I love how all the elements of the artwork are put together. The cloud above Rodney's head resembles a flame from the very tip of the crashing plane. <3

On a slightly more shallow note: Rodney's eyes look so blue!
