Have not yet read the story but wanted to say about the art:

Oh my goodness that is I DON'T EVEN KNOW BUT I AM FLAILING WITH GLEE POST BEING FREAKED OUT.

I think the best way I have of describing the art is:
"Cyber-horor oh my goodness WHAT DID THEY DO to John I can't even imagine and wow that's pretty freaking frightening with a dash of chibi cuteness"
