I absolutely love the art, that really took some doing to piece all of that together from various and sundry prop photos, unless the artist was lucky enough to get those same props in the Ebay auctions, and even then, it's fabulous work!
As for the story, I have only one word: Hooah!!! ;-)
Also, I want to thank you for this: He stepped back and gave a precise, military salute. I still harbor a powerful desire to find whichever producer told Joe Flanigan that the half-assed salute Sheppard used in canon was the proper way to render a salute in the US Armed Forces and pull my rather well worn and dusty old women's size 10 jump boot out of a box in the garage and plant said footwear firmly up their fifth point of contact.
