SUMMARY: Just when John thinks things are back to normal - Pegasus normal - and the Team has some free time in which to search for Ancient tech that naturally includes those elusive ZPMs (he can hear Rodney screeching, "ZedPMs! They're called ZedPMs, you linguistic mutilator!" in his head), they encounter something unexpected … a place so unspeakable, knowledge of its existence and purpose had been buried in Teyla's subconscious for years.
They're all about to experience the grotesque "nature" of how Wraith merged biology and botany.
NOTES ON ARTWORK: Inspired by the artwork "The Blue Forest" created for the 2018 SGA Reversebang by PattRose. Amazingly enough, this was the first year I found TWO artworks and was thrilled to be able to interpret the fabulous art provided. I had never participated before; either I was too late in claiming or nothing spoke to me.
I was even more delighted when PattRose created a book cover for me, giving me a choice of three different fonts. Who knew that I would instinctively choose "Pegasus"! I am a very happy camper with this together-but-apart collaboration.
